Are there any known health risks for a male going without ejaculation/orgasm for months on end? years?

no one knows becose no one gone over one month........ in last 5 years longest I gone was maybe nearly 3 days lol

"no one gone over one month"?

How can that be if it's been 7 months since my last ejac/orgasm?

Also, don't forget the people who practice tantra and taoist sexual practices.

There have been a couple studies linking regular ejaculation (at least 3-4 times per week) to a decreased risk of prostate cancer in the future, but nothing conclusive. The idea is that ejaculation is your body's way of naturally cleansing your reproductive system by removing any extra proteins/toxins/etc that may have accumulated over time. Frankly, I think lack of ejaculation would have more adverse effects on your mental (rather than physical) well-being, but maybe that's just me ;)

For me, the opposite is true. The longer I abstain, the healthier my mind and emotions are.

I used to limit myself to like twice a week. felt more aggressive and masculine. sadly I developed porn induced ed from my porn addiction so now I gotta cut back again big time. heres to day 2 no porn... didn't even know porn could do this to an individual...

Definitely a very hard addiction to break out of, speaking from personal experience. It has all the traits of a full-blown chemical addiction. Be careful, and good luck.

its weird, I actually develop cravings... its embarassing to talk about.

The more often you masturbate, the more often you want that release. It might explain a little bit why our sexualities have gotten to this point!

I haven't heard of any health detriments from abstaining from masturbation and sex.

Like many things, it can cause addiction if you do it too much. But a moderate amount of sex or masturbation is perfectly fine and healthy.

males will naturally ejaculate (nocturnal emmisons) when full to prevent physical hard to your junk.

for different people I suspect the neurochemical effects to differ.

testosterone levels go up for me for sure.

i start to feel a bit more edgy and aggressive, and will eventually have a wet dream if i hold off too long.

how long does this take? i can go a week without masturbating but by the end i'm feeling pent up.

It used to take me a week to start feeling the effects. That was when I was 16 or so. Now, I'm 23, and well...

it's been 8 months since my last ejaculation. I'm euphoric all the time.

new girl came over, grinder and dry humped for a good 20 min and almost busted. craziness!

I've never had a wet dream in my life, which I guess might be kind of odd. Even if I abstain for a long time it doesn't happen. I do wake up hard as a rock though.

If I ejaculate too often I feel exhausted, ungrounded, and unfocused. Since becoming an eastern medicine practitioner as well as studying tantra in my spare time, I now know that ejaculation happening too frequently can really deplete you.

Eventually, if you work through the frustration and don't ejaculate for 6 months or so, you can learn to have retrograde orgasms where your body retains your essence yet you still have the powerful orgasmic experience. It actually makes you healthier instead of depleting you because the orgasmic energy gets channelled upward. It takes practice though, and disciplined abstinence. Eventually your brain gets so frustrated that it re-wires itself to orgasm in a different way.

Even if you don't take it to that extreme, abstaining increases your general ability to feel bliss in life and your sensitivity to pleasure increases. Not just sexual pleasure either, but anything sensual: tastes, smells, sounds, etc.

There are entire sexual practices based on not ejaculating but still orgasming. That's the entire basis of sexual tantra and the kama sutra. The key though is not abstaining from sex. You still masturbate and have sex, but you don't ejaculate.

Think of spiritual figures and entire religions based on the higher spiritual awareness that can be achieved through abstinence/celibacy.... I guess on one hand you could say that masturbation improves your physiological health... but on the other that refraining from giving in to temptation and sexual desire improves your spiritual health... it's all a matter of opinion I think!
